Ferris Bueller once said life moves pretty fast, and if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. I've tried to keep looking. That's led me from newsrooms at the AP to hardware labs at Intel, from repairing and building computers at home to making the case for why infrastructure is the unsung hero of the AI era. The through-line is always the same: I'm interested in the moment when something technical becomes genuinely human. Outside of work, I'm raising kids, building things, and slowly working through my life list one bird at a time.
